The creation of a new destinational precinct incorporating a beloved West End landmark, the Peters Ice Cream Factory. A case study in authentic, respectful and ultimately successful placemaking and recipient of over 20 industry awards. We are proud to have laid the foundation for the West Village Place Brand, working alongside Vince Alafaci and Caroline Choker, the creative vision behind the The Grounds, Archie Rose and Fred’s. ACME, the architectural studio behind The Grounds and Archie Rose were brought onboard to develop the fine grain place character for West Village’s public realm. We worked to interpret their vision into a strategic Place Brand framework, from the overarching vision to the laneways, piazzas and marketplace which would define West Village’s character.
