Spire Residences, Brisbane.
Be inspired.
Consolidated Properties residential tower ‘Spire’ in Queen St Brisbane afforded us the opportunity to collaborate with “the architect’s architect’ John Wardle for a second time, following the success of York & George. As a recipient of Australia’s highest architectural honour, JWA’s studio has a reputation for delivering designs that navigate far beyond the conventional. Spire’s striking ‘veil’ façade is not only a stunning example of pure architectural beauty but also serves a practical purpose. The veil expands around living areas to open up views and contracts around bedrooms to provide privacy and shade. Spire’s curvilinear structure directly informed our project identity and visual language, with the veil’s form translating into graphic devices and fine embellishments in the curated sales collateral.
